Thanks you bunch of Ayres.
Hey! Trannies are people too! Oh wait.........Boys and girls only though, no trans, so you will have to sit this one out mate
I’m not too fussed about playing at Belmore anymore but needs to always be our home base.Great news for the club and the Belmore community to ensure BSG is the training base of the Bulldogs long term and the facilities are upgraded.. Well done to Khoury, Gus, Warburton and all involved.
Gus getting a centre of excellence built at Penrith and emphasising junior development was a huge part of their success and he's trying to do the same with us. It might take a few years but we'll see the benefits of all of these foundations being built soon enough.
“Waaaa, Centre of Excellence? That must have a Macca’s AND a Chuck Duck! Waaa, I want my job back!”Ferris must be in the fetal position crying at the news
I thought we had a world class centre of excellence when Des was the coach. What happened to that?I don't get the centre of excellence. Don't we already have one under the grand stand. Or is this a new grandstand?
With the win rate we have at Belmore- no thanks.Great news, wish they would just play there full time, it’s our home
It was Stuart Ayres of the NSW LNP who announced the funding. It would be good if the federal ALP and state LNP were co-operating, but Tony Burke is not mentioned in the article. Thanks Tony Burke!
He is also mates with young Packer so a Casino at Liverpool.Gus is mates with Ayres. May have helped?
Is the site in Liverpool big enough to get a stadium in thoughWe could have already had a dedicated stadium and club at Liverpool if the NSW Labor Government had not refused to grant the poker machine licence.
yep - its massive - the population growth just within the cbd would make it a winner cant see why there isnt a stronger push to make it happen -Is the site in Liverpool big enough to get a stadium in though

I think that is where creativity and collaboration comes into it (club local state federal government) - i was there a few months back - it is / was very run down - all the groups mentioned could have their facilities incorporated within a new updated facility - the population just within walking distance will be massive - also close to railway
The site is large but it has lot of facilities already on it;
The actual land available to use for a stadium is quite long (maybe long enough) but not very wide (definitely not wide enough).
- Whitlam Leisure Centre
- KU Liverpool preschool
- Liverpool SES
- Liverpool Pathology Centre
- Liverpool Netball Assoc with 32 Netball Courts
- NSW Ambulance Station
- Liverpool Girl Guides
I can't imagine it being very easy to convince the above to move out to make enough space for a stadium, with parking.
Always a Bulldog
He's happy with his new roleFerris must be in the fetal position crying at the news
I think it's still is....the new one is actually The Centre of Exceptional Excellence.Isn't the previous centre of excellence excellent any more?
Friends? Peter Fitzsimmons is not a friend to any rugby league supporter. His soapboxing and moral crusading is simply just a vehicle for him to get his name out there. He is scum, speaking about “what people actually need” whilst sitting in his Mcmahons point mansion. The very embodiment of a Champagne socialist. You get the drift. Different year. Same old Friends, this is not just madness, it is sustained madness. It comes from the same dynamic which gave us #StadiumSplurge. It is a decision with bugger-all consideration for what the people actually need. Make it stop!
