Averillo is a bankstown sports junior who played the last few years with Moorebank. Good speed, and vision, and a good goal kicker, his best spot is no doubt in the halves. Averillo and Dillon have played together for years and had a magic combination. Would have seen these two put on over 60 or 70 tries over the years in junior club and rep football. Dillon would beat averillo by about 10-15 meters over a 100, 10 out of 10 times but both quick. Very good signing though, glad we kept him

This kid has the goods, needs to be elevated to ISP, could be ready for gametime by mid-next year. Suddenly we have multiple halves vying for game time next year

This is definitely one kid we need to keep. He was superb yesterday; he is the complete footy player. He scored two tries and worked well with his halves partner Alex Seve. Missed the goal that could have won us the game but it was a difficult kick. We have a few good ones coming through Topine, Hetherington, Seve and Averillo....

He is big for a half, has a centre's built and pace. Personally I'd prefer to keep him in halves he is skillful.

Still a work in progress, however I'm tipping he is going to have a very nice NRL highlights reel for the 22 season.

I think that most of the harsh judgement on any player comes down to the fact that plenty of people think that one player is going to fix all the weakness in the roster. In a fairly talented roster one player might be the final puzzle piece. In our roster there were forwards, halves and outside back weaknesses.

Averillo hasn't shown a lot of organising skills, but has at times shown he's a dangerous runner which was why people rated him highly. With more running threats in the team next year, hopefully he'll cop less attention from the defence and show his running skills more frequently.

All u mfs regret what good stuff u said about him
Why would anybody regret the good stuff they said about him?

Are we pretending as if he hasn't had exceptional moments this year, playing out of position, in an overmatched side?

He’s gone missing. Where the duck is his organisation skills. Where his ability to take on the line. He’s Fucken shit. Everyone needs to get off the hype train. He makes me sick.
He isn't a halfback but has been asked to play that role in a halfback heavy reliant system, what is so hard to understand? Seriously.
