Maybe I've missed something/someone, but we seem REALLY short in the backs next season.

1. Averillo
2. Kiraz
3. ????
4. ????
5. JAC

Braidon Burns, Corey Allan, Isaac Lumelume, Jayden Okunbor, Declan Casey, Jeral Skelton, Paul Alamoti, Blake Wilson.

Burns - likely for one centre spot.
Allan - being shopped around according to this.
Lumelume - should never see first grade again.
Okunbor - *shudders at the thought*
Casey - You'd have to think will get second centre spot.
Skelton - still needs time in NSW Cup to hone his craft.
Alamoti - still needs time in NSW to really work on his defence.
Wilson - unlikely to be in NRL, and will most likely cement NSW Cup fullback spot.

All this points towards, is a decent signing in the backs, as we get an injury there and we are screwed.
Agree, I could see us lining up like this if the club is patient with younger players.
1. Averillo
2. Perham
3. Burns
4. Kiraz
5. Addo-Carr

Alamoti is nowhere near ready. Watching him in NSW Cup he was defensively very weak.

Skelton looked a more ready prospect, but still very new to NRL, and probably needs a bit more time.
Maybe Perham instead of Alamoti (Kiraz centre) but no way I'm selecting Okunbor, Allan, Burns or Casey. Not sure why we let Schoupp go if Alamoti and Skelton aren't ready.

Yuck.. Haha. I think there's a lot of smoke around the rumours of him being moved on before the start of the season. If we can free up some extra cap space while moving on dead weight, then it's an easy decision.

Even if he's on 500k, we pay 250k for 2023 and have to replace him with a 150k player, that extra 100k could come in very handy for signings or re-signings.
$100k for this year or rolled into next year..

Is Lumelume still with us? I noticed his name wasn't on the Top 30 squad for 2023 announced on Monday.

That’s right. That is why we have approached him twice in two years!!!
That was before Gus and before we found a fullback and set other targets

No it wasn’t. Gus has been quoted saying we need a fullback and a halfback.

Im scared at the thought and it's not ideal at all, but i think they will be going with;
1. Averillo
2. JAC
3. Burns
4. Allen
5. Kiraz
I picked that back five in another thread and mentioned i didn't like it at all.

We are VERY thin out wide.

Another BS headline no clubs are chasing Barrett’s “rock star” fullback Allan, he is being shopped around and clubs will only take him if we pay plenty of freight. Obviously no chance of being re-signed so may as well move him on early.

The only way Burns should be centre is if we're picking them in alphabetical order
Lol...Ye Burns is shit...offers zilch in attack and his defence is quite questionable
