Maybe I've missed something/someone, but we seem REALLY short in the backs next season.

1. Averillo
2. Kiraz
3. ????
4. ????
5. JAC

Braidon Burns, Corey Allan, Isaac Lumelume, Jayden Okunbor, Declan Casey, Jeral Skelton, Paul Alamoti, Blake Wilson.

Burns - likely for one centre spot.
Allan - being shopped around according to this.
Lumelume - should never see first grade again.
Okunbor - *shudders at the thought*
Casey - You'd have to think will get second centre spot.
Skelton - still needs time in NSW Cup to hone his craft.
Alamoti - still needs time in NSW to really work on his defence.
Wilson - unlikely to be in NRL, and will most likely cement NSW Cup fullback spot.

All this points towards, is a decent signing in the backs, as we get an injury there and we are screwed.

Now we have an even bigger centre problem.
Why train them up to speed then let them go?
Different coach which means different vision. I trust Gus and Ciraldo will make the right decisions

The only way Burns should be centre is if we're picking them in alphabetical order
I'm not saying what I'd pick, I'm guessing what a new coach might do round 1.. Picking rookies like Skelton and Alamoti for round 1 likely won't happen as much as we want it to unless they have a huge preseason and play well in the trials.

The good the about the new coach is he has said its a clean slate, so they will all be training the house down to impress him and get a spot.

Yuck.. Haha. I think there's a lot of smoke around the rumours of him being moved on before the start of the season. If we can free up some extra cap space while moving on dead weight, then it's an easy decision.

Even if he's on 500k, we pay 250k for 2023 and have to replace him with a 150k player, that extra 100k could come in very handy for signings or re-signings.

Herbert and Schoup in the centres at the same time would be hilarious. Their wingers would never see any ball

Allan is better on the wing, Kiraz should get a crack in the centres.

Yeh I’d be happy to see kiraz at centre. Regardless with him and Jac we have 2/5 back positions locked.

I think we need a fullback.

Hoping alomiti lives up to the hype but could easily flop. Skeleton has some hype to.

Either way schoup isn’t a huge loss and I trust Gus is making moves

Kiraz won't be on the wing. Only time I can see him on the wing is if both Skelton and Alamoti impress enough to make FG.

I'm guessing....

1. Avo
2. Casey
3. Kiraz
4. Skelton
5. JAC
