some positive thoughts
groom-got a step and looks sharp.made 20 or so tackles including 4 plays that got dogs the ball back(straight otta hosp).
hickey-getting better and better 100>m
armit-finally-100>m
ryan>100
reni and koups will only get better as they had over 1 mnth off
roberts-still to come back
utai>staying under the radar and graet little dummy runs
hughes-his toughness has been great
wini-finding his feet
the team looked like the better side the other night and were hard done by...getting there however.

I agree but I can't help to wander with our halves combination to be announced this week. Holdsworth tried his heart out his short kicking game is really nice, But then again Groom in his few touches was good adn his kick under pressure though it went dead shows it can be sensational, who knows?

DJ has a rib injury I suspect. That's why Folkes wanted him to come off. DJ wanted to stay & play on, but he was clearly in distress.

Hickey and Armit were the two biggest positives out of that game IMO. If they can keep playing like that, they can earn themselves new contracts and prove they are worth to be starting NRL props.

Also a very solid debut by Groom was another of many positives, and Corey's performance, and the much improved effort....
