Hes a massive talent but he needs to step up ,his ball security and defensive reads can be poor as well as staying on the field ,hopefully he is fitter and can be a bit more consistent when he comes back

Allow me to explain the analogy for those that might be missing it. So everyone raves and raves about Hiku (based on his last game), rather than his overall career to date. He isn't *that* big of an improvement over Sam Perrett. He's not that fast, his footwork is average, and he's prone to making mistakes.

Manly have started to promote Clint Gutherson, who is a gun, and slated as Stewarts replacement.

Hiku isn't THAT bad, but his future is seen in the halves or wing / centres at Manly, most likely when Lyon or Matai retires.

Back to my analogy. People think on face value he's our answer to the fullback woes. If he comes here, people will be disappointed that hes either not that good, or doesn't live up to the hype.

He's a player, he's not an X Factor, and not a superstar (in my opinion).
