71 and 72 (We then make FG GF in 74)
80 (we win FG comp in 80, 84,85)
98, 00 and 02 (we should have won comp in 02 but got shafted for salary cap breach then won in 04)
09, 10 and 11 (we then make FG GF in 12 and 14)

only 18 hasn’t been a pointer to subsequent success. (There’s probably a specific reason and someone will have a theory they may like to share).
Id say as a rule when we have a strong Reggies team there are more than a handful of younger players who go on to become the backbone of our FG team in the next couple of years.
