The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have today named their squad for the Pre-Season Charity Cup to be played against the Melbourne Storm at Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane on Sunday, February 23.
Coach Des Hasler has named a 21-man squad with many of the Club’s higher profiled players expected to play larger minutes as the side continue to prepare for the season proper.
Halfback Trent Hodkinson is looking forward to the match against the Melbourne Storm which will kick-off at 5pm on Sunday afternoon.
“We’re really looking forward to this one,” Hodkinson said. “The first trial was to blow the cobwebs out but this one is our last crack at getting things right before round one so we’re going to be giving it our all.
“We have to get into the groove of playing footy, getting the little things right and spending time together out on the park.
“The Storm are a quality side and whoever plays for them will provide us with a good test so we hope plenty of people come out to have a look at us in action.”
The squad is as follows:
Mitch Brown, Tim Browne, Greg Eastwood, Michael Ennis, Dale Finucane, James Graham, Jaline Graham, Trent Hodkinson, Krisnan Inu, Josh Jackson, Sam Kasiano, David Klemmer, Moses Mbye, Josh Morris, Ed Murphy, Sam Perrett, Frank Pritchard, Chase Stanley, Corey Thompson, Aiden Tolman, Tony Williams
