I don’t believe this for a second, but how does the medical retirement process work in league?
Is there a medical team that determine if a player’s injuries will ever improve to the level expected of a professional footy player?
Can someone medically retire, then if their conditions improve, return again a year or two down the track if they can provide new medical evidence?
Why does the player decide what should be a medical decision?

He can develop a coaching career on the back of it.
Worth one more crack at a medical retirement though. Unlikely as it is, but maybe things have changed in the last 12 months.

The club should take him to Dr Ibrahim.. that Dr will write anything you want on a medical certificate for 50 bucks..

I don't trust the source at all but I'm sure Foran could be playing now if he had to or wanted to. He's played through hamstring and calf injuries the past 5 years. If he was playing for Des at Manly he would have played in a wheelchair if he could.

Something is likely going on and it's not just an "aggravated calf strain"... Either way his tenure at the club has been as diabolical as we anticipated and then some.. The sooner he's moved on, the better.
