How good would it be getting the win in round 1 and then the road trip to Penriff in round 2. Everyone will be buzzing and it would be awesome atmosphere!

Say Manly wins the Gf, rnd 1 is the Premiers up against the wooden spooners, what a way to start the year for us and as you said a win and a trip to penrith will bring some fans back that didnt go this year

I wish so much we play Saints at Kogarah.

And I hope very much that we play Wests in Round 26 on a Sunday at Leidchardt. Or at least Campbelltown.

The NRL said that they would encourage teams to not play so many games at ANZ and I hope that takes place because this last season, way too often, teams neglected their actual home grounds (those teams that have them)

Playing the Tigers at Leidchardt would be a massive money spinner as would playing Saints at Kogarah. There are many other fixtures like this with many other clubs that could attract huge crowds at boutique grounds and it is much better for the fan, for the impartial and for the NRL if more of these games take place and are staged at the right venue.

I know it is hard to ignore the guaranteed money from ANZ stadium, but hopefully a much better balance can be found and sanity will prevail.

On our draw, we have a very nice run home.

Whats a glory bound round?
it's the NRL's marketing term for the last few rounds leading up into the finals. basically trying to hype people up to get out and support their club in the final push for a top 8 place.

edit: and this year they've scheduled a few blockbusters for the first glory bound round (e.g. bulldogs vs eels) to make it seem like more of an event.

i'm really hoping this too. since it's in the heritage round it would make sense for them to put it at their traditional stadium.

Saints should be at Oki, one thing i hate is we only play Roosters once and all the way in rnd 24, pretty annoying

You would think so, and hope so.

With Kogarah being ready next year and considering they didn't play a game there this year you would think Saints would play at least 5 home games out of 12 there next season.

Lets hope the NRL this time don't allow every Sydney club to play way too many games at ANZ and home grounds that certain clubs are lucky enough to have and have had 100's of millions of dollars combined in funding from many different governments can be taken advantage of.

Not too happy with the way our BYES are scheduled. They are so close together. If we do manage to have a few players in Origin then it should really benefit them.

I'll be at the Newcastle game for sure and hopefully some others. Bring on Manly Round 1!
