Out with Bling, In with Sting .... Koups is last of the bling generation. Koups doesn't have any work rate in defence. Not part of the way forward. Rumours are 100% true and Roosters prepared to pay out his contract, which is quite healthy. Gives us more salary cap space for 2010.

I've always had high hopes for Koops after his breakout year in 07. I still think he has something to offer and is a very talented player but the reality is it is more likely that he languishes in Reserves here and isn't in the club's plans.

If what you say about him being part of the bling crew is true then he can leave without any hesitation.

Must agree with Matt on that he is a ball runner plain and simple.

I don't even think he's that great a ball runner. He goes well when it suits him and we're on a roll. He feeds off others. That's why we'll love Stagg, Ennis, Hannant, Hodgson and Warburton as they'll rip in against the odds and tough it out in all conditions.
