You want clubs that play good footy to go to best represent the game.
Kills me to say the Bulldogs arent good enough to represent.
You want to promote the game to be an international sport than fuck knows why you wouldnt send Warriors instead of Manly.

I reckon the Murukans will laugh at teams named after chickens and bunnies

Could it be that those 4 were selected to go to the world’s #1 gambling destination because;

Broncos - sponsored by Star Casinos
Souffs - sponsored by Crown Casinos (and the Australian Turf Club, no I’m not joking)
Manly - sponsored by PointsBet
Chooks - sponsored by Unibet

Always a Bulldog

Yeah I said the same thing bro, leach off the popularity of a professionally run sport.

Plus you cover the East, West and Mid America with those teams maximising exposure.

Throw in Panthers too.
We are talking about a supposed ‘professional sport’ here. This is the NRLol they wouldn’t be using those brain cells

How big is the playing area going to be? Nfl grounds are amaller than nrl ones.

The stadium is quite impressive though, with its grass pitch that gets wheeled in and out.

Another dumb question: is this game being played at the same time as round 1, or a week earlier?

lol would be like us being forced to watch the bulldogs afl, why aus continue to be so far up USA arse. I really hope vlanys ends up in a hole out there in the desert.

this is gonna flop so bad I love it
You don’t get do you?

At least half of it anyway. You got the bit about it being a flop on the American public as they’re only interested in what they only know. Not like Rugby League is ever going to take off in the US, they’ve already taken games over there before including playing a SOO there once but here’s the thing, as I mentioned the other day that you laughed at.

P V’L doesn’t give a shit about promoting the game over there, he’s doing it as betting has opened opened up more in the US, it’s the gambling capital of the world. He knows that and is only trying to tap into that market. As I said he’s a businessman with an accounting & wagering background. If there’s a $ to be made anywhere he’ll find it but in the process he’s slowly destroying the game long term.

Warriors declined
Some players might’ve been unhappy with that decision, could’ve landed themselves a WWE contract.

Unfortunately the whole Rock, Roman Reigns and the USO’s thing has been done do death.

You have to laugh sometimes, the amount of off field controversy the players get themselves into in recent years and the NRL thinks it’s a good idea to take them over to “Sin City” to play a few games. Hope there’s curfews and they remain in a group.

Chuck an American ref on tell him the ball has to go backwards and it’s only a penalty for punches thrown. You will have the whole of America loving this shit.

As bad as some of the players are off field these days, at least we don’t have “the poo in the shoe”, “the helicopter” or “the bubbler” to worry about. :tearsofjoy:
