I'd have to agree with that. Initially I was quite worried that he may not be able to cope under the high ball and all that jazz but he seems to be perfecting his trade week in and week out.

He's a different kind of player, gets very involved but isn't a playmaker. If we don't improve our kick chases, tho, he'll kill us, he sprints back at the line, Slater style, gains about 20m every run

BRONCOS skipper Darren Lockyer has thrown a scare into the camp by failing to train for the second day in a row because of back pain.

Lockyer has not trained since the Good Friday win over the Wests Tigers and must be considered a doubtul starter against the Bulldogs at Suncorp Stadium on Friday night.

Coach Anthony Griffin has named an unchanged starting team, including Lockyer at five-eighth.

We couldn't beat the Titans last year without Prince and couldn't beat the Storm without Slater and Smith.
