I wouldn’t mind Pezet but as you say I think he wants the apprenticeship at Melbourne.

Trindall is the one that would want a full time NRL start and is exactly what we need. We are asleep at the wheel on this one. If he gets a release and goes to the Tigers and we are stuck with our current halves next year. Gus and co are taking the piss!

I think he will stay in Melbourne as Anasta is his manager and knows his client will develop best there, which means better outcome essentially = more money.

However it depends if Anasta would feel so inclined to help the Dogs. Burton and Pezet would make a solid halves pairing.
