What a performance. He showed his toughness today and the classy skills and vision he had at Souths by putting Averillo into space several times. The effort on his chase on their first try despite being injured was inspirational.

I am not a massive fan of him and with all other troops fit and ready to go would not be in the side....BUT what a gutsy effort from him today. He could have quite easily gone into his shell and let the injury take control...instead he lifted and gave it his all. Tough man indeed and his effort in attempting to stop that try was phenomenal...If that could be bottled and distributed we could be unbeatable...

Played like a man who knows he has to give it everything just to get a spot in the backline, was absolutely massive today and I doubt we win without him. Played almost the entire game on one leg, 3 line break assists, 6 tackle busts, 163m run.

He put Averillo into a 15m hole so that he had no one in front of him except for Sloan. And he did it twice. As well as all the tough carries. Easy Man of the Match

Him and Avo as a pair won us the match and i thinks it tough to split the two as we don’t win without either of them today.

Great to see both of them playing well, as they would have been at long odds to be our game breakers before kick off. That in itself is a welcome sight.
