According to Massoud the board now want Hoppa playing Sunday's. Hopefully it pressure's him into playing.

They aren't making him but they want him to. He doesn't have to if he doesn't want to. It's their own fault for signing off on the contract.

If that is indeed the case (I don't believe most of what these glorified creative writers say), then the board have lost any remaining shred of credibility...

If the board is putting pressure on him to play it's because they are probably renewing or renewed his contract.

In all honesty though he is a good footballer. He just isn't a fullback. Thing is we don't have any other options.

Ideally he plays in the 4 or 5 jersey. He isn't in the top few fullback.

A couple of others I missed but would all rank as better fullbacks then him.

But if I was picking a backline player for our team he would be the first picked.

His powerful running and front on defence is much better at centre or wing. Then one on one at fullback where players can burn him with pace.

He was ok for the first 6-8 rounds last year then went backwards. As others have said it's a move to get a contract after this season. Tbh I'd be happy if this was his last season with us along with the Morris boys if they have more injuries.

Agree. Up until his extended break he was probably best on ground in the first part of the season (even was getting tossed up as a origin smokey).

But in all honesty missing a month of football for no real reason (no injury, no suspension) sets you back no matter who you are.

Even Jordan would be rusty if he stopped playing ball for a month then returned. You can train all you want, but your fitness and touch will only come during games.
