I have been saying this for a while, when he does something good it's a halfback play style, people tell me he is a liability in defence there,
IMO if CC wants to stay loyal to the players based on their undeniable great efforts he should consider switching their positions
1 Tracey
2 Kiraz
3 Burton
4 Crichton
5 JAC / Wilson / Xerri
6 Hutchison
7 Taaffe / Sexton
In a blink of an eye this backline could be special, we will never know unless we give it a go !
The only possible obstacles are EGOS !
Getting to the point where there's nothing to lose and everything to gain. Hutch not getting any faster or gonna be electrifying the plays and Taafe not gonna play much above what we've already seen at fb. Hutch could be a Gary Hughes type 5/8 for us?

Be interesting to see whst CC decides with Fox, Preston and Morrin out.

We've been without a star halfback for many year but now we have some potentials and many utilities and have reached the point of trial and error, who knows it might take just a little tweak to form a very workable combination,
The question is who and when ?

Could CC be more concerned about fixing our defence first, then once that is fully sorted more attention will be applied to the attack, let's hope he doesn't take too long

Just watching Newcastle v Warriors and it makes me so sad we have the useless Taffe while they have RTS and Ponga... we are so severely hampered having someone like Taffe at FB

Taafe was playing really well up until Dom Young took him out.

Great try, and great cover tackle. Plus the team looked a bit confused with out him out there, although did that have to do with him not being there or their attitude towards playing 12 men am not sure.

More likely due to the number of players playing out of position and covering for half the team on the field being injured.

that seems likely.

Still, was quite happy with his first 25 minutes. Am hoping he's feeling ok, and will hopefully be back soon.

Taffee is awesome. Thought it since he smashed us with souths. He's been making more of an impact than basically any other player than Kikau last few weeks. Chip to score last week, forced an error and then scored a try, huge game last night.

Taaffe sure is fast, Young was flat out running as fast as he could and Taaffe looked like he wasn’t trying that hard. Had plenty of time to line up a magnificent Turvey like legs covering tackle over the sideline.

Xerri wasn’t hanging around either. I’d like to see the GPS data on both on them.

Always a Bulldog
