Every player that left besides Barba was because Hasler didn't want them. Also going in to 2014 we had all these players except Brett Morris and Curtis Rona so your argument is wrong.

Because the Nrl did not want us to. Too much corruption so they never wanted us to celebrate. They get the refs to cane us in anyways they can just to make an example of us. Then they rev our fans up and upset us just hoping our fans cause trouble in the crowd so the media is all over us and we get called the club with the worst supporters in the league. This has been highlighted too many times.

We replaced Barba at FB with Perrett in 2014, who while was solid wasn't a proper fullback. Our wingers were Mitch Brown and Corey Thompson who weren't first grade standard.

After coming first on the ladder after 10 rounds we only won 5 of our last 14 games and missed out on the top 4. Once we made the GF Ennis was injured and didn't play, Moses was a rookie at the time and both Josh and Hodko were busted leading into that game.

Bellamy and Bennet have done just about as much as Des in the last few years. TBH in the last ten years Hasler has been better LOL.

Bennett has shown just how good he is(n't) with Newcastle and as for Bellamy good on him for getting the results he has but even JT would get them with the class of player he has had over a very long time. No doubt he will retire when the others do so we will never know. I still remember his sparkling fall from grace when he took on SOO though. Frankly, I think the best coach we have had in the past 30 years has been Gus. He has won premierships and SOO's repeatedly. It's no fluke.
