2700 tonne of ammonium would easily cause that blast, Bulk storage of AN is highly regulated in Australia for that reason, The world trade center blast was only four tonne from memory and 5kg will blow a blue gum stump clean out of the ground

Yeah just heard about it..bloody hell! My thoughts go out to all affected. I will say the majority of Middle Eastern countries have offered their help..including Israel..which very good to see.

When you see how big that blast was, it's a miracle that more people weren't killed. It was definitely a military grade weapon that exploded.
