Anyway he cant suck more than the supposedly more experienced ref we got last week. He was dreadful.

Would help if the video ref could alert the main ref to anything he misses. Things can be avoided like the Broncos knock-on in front of our goal that resulted in 2 penalty points to Broncos , coz we tried to take the ball (to play it). He missed the knock-on. Video ref must have been squirming coz on camera it was an obvious drop.

Hate a big match like a final to be decided on the back of something like that, when the video ref prolly it saw straight away. I reckon getting it right more often more should be justification enough. Its the modern game and is faster and uses technology more than ever. Why not use tech to help eliminate errors that could change games. Other sports do. A word in the refs ear when he see something cant hurt the game. IMO

Ben Cummins is a lot better than some of the so called experienced ref's, you best hope that we get a good vid ref to go as well!!!

personally i reckon that tim mander was one of the best refs in the game...once he left i had a feeling that the standard of refereeing would drop...and i think its just gonna get worse

Hmm, didn't we have Cummins in the last Penrith game?

If I'm correct...that was the single worst display of refereeing I had seen in a while.

I suppose it's not Permanent Tan Hayne though...
