Commbank was built within 2 and a half years. We could be cheering the Dogs at a purpose built ground before the end of the decadeGo to a commbank stadium and we should not settle for anything else it’s 2024
Sounds like a train wreck....I say go one better and incorporate the new stadium with the railway line i.e the track can be the 50m line
Geez that's harsh the serial offender you mentioned has 7 regurgitated articles posted on the first page of bulldogs discussion alone..prefer djdeep thread over this junk
That's one way to ensure we keep the club on track for the future.I say go one better and incorporate the new stadium with the railway line i.e the track can be the 50m line
Great minds think alike. I posted this on 2/11/2022:The Canterbury Racecourse site would be great if that ever ends up going the way of the dodo. Close to trains and plenty of room for both stadium and car park.
Dude when was the last time you got some?WHY CANT THE CANTERBURY BANKSTOWN BULLDOGS not have a brand new home ground? Our home community SOUTH WESTERN REGION OF SYDNEY. Enjoying the luxuries of a new state of the art home ground like most of the nrl clubs. What in the world is it? Politics? NRL? Money?. Well. Who cares. They are all there to keep society pleased. So we have very NRL home ground in Sydney in the process of being upgraded or approved, renovated. Ultimately it’s the fans and community benefiting. Lucky for the 70’s, 80’s,90’s, and so on have had their fun. It’s (cursing) 2024. I’m sure the bulldogs most likely do have a better plan. All of Politics and money are there where is the community, wake up. Well south’s are in the same boat I know but if Politics has bowed down to the rest of Sydney community? Once these two LGA’s are sorted the NRL is complete where every game will have an updated modern home ground atmosphere.
I'm suss on every new user now. May make a genuine post once and then disappear to be a future alias if requireddo they check IT addresses been alot of "new" people coming on board talking about the same thing, maybe a coincidence

Wouldn't it be easier just to try and get a thought bubble into Chris Minns' head?To approach the government for upgrades to Belmore Sports Ground for the Canterbury Bulldogs, consider these steps:
1. **Research**: Understand the current state of the stadium, its shortcomings, and the desired upgrades. Gather data on attendance numbers, economic impact, and community support.
2. **Formulate a Proposal**: Develop a comprehensive proposal outlining the upgrades needed, the benefits to the community, and potential funding sources. Highlight how the upgrades will benefit not only the Bulldogs but also the wider community.
3. **Engage with Stakeholders**: Reach out to local government officials, representatives, and community leaders to gain torque for the project. Present your proposal and demonstrate the positive impact it will have on the area.
4. **Build a Coalition**: Work with other stakeholders, such as local businesses, fans, and community groups, to create a coalition advocating for the upgrades. A united front can be more persuasive to government officials.
5. **Attend Meetings and Public Forums**: Attend relevant council meetings, public forums, and hearings to voice support for the upgrades and address any concerns raised by the community or government officials.
6. **Utilize Media and Public Relations**: Use media channels, social media, and public relations efforts to raise awareness about the need for upgrades and garner public support. Positive media coverage can help sway public opinion and put pressure on decision-makers.
7. **Lobbying and Advocacy**: Engage in direct lobbying efforts by meeting with government officials, writing letters, and organizing petitions. Advocate for funding and support from all levels of government.
8. **Seek Funding**: Explore funding options such as government grants, private investments, sponsorship deals, and community fundraising initiatives to finance the upgrades.
9. **Negotiate and Compromise**: Be prepared to negotiate with government officials and other stakeholders to reach a mutually beneficial agreement. Compromises may be necessary to move the project forward.
10. **Monitor Progress**: Stay engaged throughout the process and monitor progress closely. Follow up with government officials and continue to advocate for the upgrades until they are successfully implemented.
Bahahahahaha! Too good.
TBH the stadium is the least of our problems at the moment, considering what we’ve been through as a club the last seven odd years we really need on field improvement and progress. We're getting the centre of excellence or whatever it will be called built on the hill at Belmore. In terms of a complete rebuild to increase the capacity, I doubt it will ever happen.
We're a better chance of getting a new stadium built at Liverpool and even then, that could take ten years or more before it happens.
Corny.I’m not sure weather [emoji943] they do or whether [emoji848] they don’t ..
See what I did there .. [emoji16]
I know, I’m leaving ..
offcouse we want to win again but you can’t say the stadium problem isn’t a big problem, I know many dogs supporters that don’t bother with Homebush, belmore is a shit holetoTBH the stadium is the least of our problems at the moment, considering what we’ve been through as a club the last seven odd years we really need on field improvement and progress.
