This tells me the writing is on the wall for Flanno - he is gone

“Obviously Kyle’s contracted here for two more years, so he’ll be given every opportunity to improve himself as a player and make our team.

It is what it is, my issue is that Napa should've had the same fate this year. The ball boy could've replaced Napa and we wouldn't have lost a single thing. Consistency otherwise the players will have an issue with the system.

Obviously the lines of communication between Gus and Trent aren't completely open and transparent!

I wonder if the people crying about renouf are going to cry when Flanagan gets shown the door, geez easy to pick the ones on here who have never played the game or played it just for fun.
In Gus we trust.
Go doggies.

Wonder if they will make a play at Mitch Pearce, Gus loves to have an old head with a young playmaker, he brought Maloney into help Cleary.

In the case he can't be offloaded Baz can't say publicly we want to get rid of him, worst case is we still have him for 2 years and Baz still needs to work with him.
You are right - not much he can say that will not be used against him or the club - if Flanagan had gone back to NSW cup and played well or played well when given a chance against Manly things would be different.

When asked about leaving Wakeham out of the bubble - he said it was due to taking a balanced squad - im sure there is more to it.
