I doubt it. It seems like it would be good practice to allow Trent to have plausible deniability to not rattle the playing group too much, but I'm sure he knows.

You are right - not much he can say that will not be used against him or the club - if Flanagan had gone back to NSW cup and played well or played well when given a chance against Manly things would be different.

When asked about leaving Wakeham out of the bubble - he said it was due to taking a balanced squad - im sure there is more to it.
