Foran for sure!!! Hayne is talented no doubts but he needs to be in a crappy team so that he can be the "superstar" parramatta suit him perfectly!!!

Neither for a few reasons.

Hayne: Very talented but is a one man show. Club doesn't need the attention and there is also a Benji Marshall type risk of a guy coming back who just doesn't cut it like he used to.

Foran: Too many problems, physically and emotionally. Possibly made to look good having played alongside DCE and Norman, so I think there is a big question mark over his value.

Was this a gee up?

I admit I have been livid at Renolyds for the past two years calling for his head! He has improved dramatically BUT
Foran is on another level in my opinion its easy to forget how good foran is because of how crap manly went last year and all his injuries and problems this year.
The old Foran, I would agree with you. Which Foran comes out of the sh!thole he has dug for himself (or if he does at all) not sure he is worth the gamble on the money he would command.

No one would be impressed if we shed players to fit him in and he digs another hole for himself.

Hayne basically did what he wanted at parra, even Hindy admitted he wasn't the best at training. Imagine him with Des? he'd dummy spit the first week and go sign with the waratahs.

Id also be chasing Holmes. Sharks aren't going to be able to keep him and Union want him baf. Think he would be in high demand though if he was available...500k would be an opening offer from most clubs imo.

According to Joey Tannous on FB Hayne might line up for Parra this season. He's almost always on the money so interesting if this plays out as he said.

Who should we go for hayne or foran
I'm almost 100% certain he is already signed to Parra (Hayne), but they've been asked by NRL to keep it all quiet until all this other crap dies down.

Rugby thing was probably a ruse to allow him to play elsewhere given Parra's season is pretty much done and dusted.

I dare say the Hayne signature was on Parra letterhead well before the Rugby dream was over.

Tbh tho anyone could call that. Media has been saying for a week hayne will play nrl this year and hayne said he will only play for the eels if he came back to the nrl. 2 + 2 = 4

According to this article from today, Hayne's manager has not even spoken to the Eels. Who do you believe? All the Parra fans having a party because the prodigal son is returning or the club itself for saying that they will have $250k spare change to sign him when they escort Foran from the premises? Nobody really knows. Parramatta got themselves into a deep hole and the only way they have been able to get out of it is to shed players; now they get rid of Foran to possibly resign a bloke who could not have given two sh@ts a few years ago and left the ship before it hit the bottom of the sea floor all so he could flop in the NFL.

"His manager hasn't spoken to Parramatta, so I think everyone's hoping that happens, but European rugby seems to be the likely fit if he was going to go to the 15-man game."

He specifically said the Titans game. If you play SuperCoach you'd know that he's almost always on the money.

Honestly wondering if people in this thread watched Hayne play, I don't really care much about the ego stuff since it never caused issues at parra but he always ripped up playing, he had a lot more of a contribution to the blues finally winning than any other player that series. Say what you like about his character but he was always a fantastic player

Cant see how he could be so bad at training yet make an NFL roster without previously playing the game.

But hindy does talk alot of shit

Neither? But if we were to get one def Foran. What has Hayne achieved honestly? A couple wooden spoons for his team? We don't need his ego at our club
Yeah I wouldn't want someone playing for my team who is going to forget his footy boots on grand final day.
True story, apparently in 2009 he forgot to bring his boots to ANZ stadium and raced home with a Police escort to go get them.
The most important game of the year and forgot his boots, shame Hayne shame!

There's a difference between ability and application. Hayne wasn't the star at San Fran so he had to work hard just to get noticed. At Parra he ruled the roost and coaches probably didn't try hard enough to keep him in line. He's a great player but very much an individual as opposed to team player

Its been talked about before, I think there was even an article about how he'd show up to training when he wanted and trained how he wanted ect.
