Don't really understand anyone being negative about this one. It has been an absolute sh#t stain of a season and he's been one of the few bright spots. I never rated him much but he was superb this year prior to getting injured so fair play to him. He's massive for team culture (always the one leading the team song), passionate about the club and (hopefully) has really matured as a player.

The other positive is Barrett made a point to call him and him re-signing is a great signs that a) he's a coach players admire and know they can learn off and b) Barrett's 2021 vision and beyond is appealing enough to turn down more $ elsewhere.

Love it!

We have always had success and a good run when we have had a large majority of players come up through our systems.

Would love to see Averillo, Reynolds, Elliott, Jackskon,Wakeham all run out together and strengthen the #9 position which is extremely crucial.

Young Brandon Smith has Bulldogs written all over him

It's done now but I think the quality of the player is determined by who was trying to sign him and that was St George and the warriors.

I'm glad we've got guys that work hard and try their guts out but how many of the top teams have their majority of players that fall into this category.

I fear next year will just be more of the same, it's time to look at the key position we need and focusing on them, at this stage the only halves we have signed beyond this year are Lewis and Wakeham.

The team is coming last, experts and media say our players are not of first grade standard, yet we keep on extending contracts. Lol.
Not saying this is a bad move but fans been waiting for 2021 to see something different.

Not such a bad re-signing but it pisses me off when he comes out threatening he will leave for the better of his family which is fair enough but if the club means so much to him like he says then keep the threats of leaving and that shitty piece of commentary in house between him and the club.

Adam Elliott has knocked back a rich offer from the Warriors to ink a three-year contract extension with the Bulldogs while Kane Evans will join the New Zealand-based side.

The injured back-rower was pursued by the Warriors and St George Illawarra but has opted to remain in Belmore under incoming coach Trent Barrett.

Elliott, 25, has played 83 top-grade games since making his debut for the club in 2016 but won’t play again this season because of a shoulder injury.

While the Warriors missed out on Elliott they have signed Eels prop Kane Evans for the next two years to go with Euan Aitken’s arrival at the club next year.

Great news just goes to show that there is still loyalty in our club that doesn’t cost us massive $$$ the man bleeds blue & white!

How ever you want to mix the forward pack, RFM at prop or Jj at lock. Its still the same SMALL forward pack that gets rolled down the field week in week out.

Let's hope a few more big bodies get signed to change it up.

Yes, so lets get rid of our best forward (who experts actually rate). That's a really good solution.

can live with a 3 year deal, but would have preferred a 2 year deal with option for a 3rd if meets guidelines or targets

How many fucking times is this club going to be fooled by player’s lifting their game when their contract is up ffs
Three more years of this chunt trying to be a hero and making stupid fucking errors
FMD
But he try's hard mate, that's all most fans seem to care about. To think that we were once a powerhouse club. Three more years of plodding coming up.
