I think Gus needs to pre empt a low performing season by talking about our youngsters, re assuring everybody that CC is safe and promise to do better in the future. Not being but realistic.

On paper that’s a bottom 3 side. What also concerns me is our lack of size. Blokes like Sexton, Taafe, Mann, Turpin, Reed, Tanner, Morrin, Wilson fox, are kinda on the small side. We don’t have many power players.

Hutchinson can play 1-7 and back row which may be handy and I think Mann popped up after and he’s too good not to have.
I do think we are one utility too many but once you consider Salmon and Taafe too.

We have one of the weakest outside backs in the comp by far… top that with next to no forward pack to get us up field? Wtf is going on with retention and recruitment… better hope there’s better to come or tick us off for wooden spoon favs next season!

Looks like there'll still be some player movement over the off season.

I like these signings. They are not world beaters, but they are 100% footy players. They dont shirk the hard work like a few others.

His footy IQ is good. This is something we aren’t flush with. He is the slowest player to ever lace on a boot though.

Easily the most ineffective and unintimidating prop rotation going round, our obvious Achilles heal but hopefully the plan is to target 2025 for quality middles becoming available.

It goes to show that some people haven't learned the lessons from this year's injury crises as well as not seeing penrith's system, which shows how important it is to have experienced depth.
