Coaches must see something in him considering this is his 5th club so far
Very true.. just read that Collins quit Canberra to go back to qld for family.. so maybe for him moving away for a chance isn't appealing.. that's the thing we don't consider - not every player is willing to leave their home for a chance they know deep down they're probably not good enough or committed enough to take with both hands.

JT = Jason Taumalolo.

But yeah, there’s a small pool of quality props for 2025, no doubt we will target a couple, but the NRL is swings and roundabouts - expect the unexpected on player signings and cap pressure will start to kick in with most of the better teams doing what they can to keep all the good eggs, this will see player movement
I don't mind Patolo if he's fit and uninjured. He has a similar weight and size to players like Fotuaika and Leota. He has a bit of mongrel in him and could have a breakout season next year. I am sure CC's training will get the team in peak condition. I think King is a bit soft in that sense and is probably better at lock.

Club desperately needs two quality middle forwards King and Curran will likely be there Hughes, Knight and Patolo can fight for the final prop position.
Edwards and Salmon can fight it out for a role at lock unless CC decides to go with size than its Knight or Patolo.
In whats available for next season I think we have just as good stock in our own ranks so we may as well try and get the best out of them. Potentially I think theres a couple that could be as good as most other dominant props for other teams if all goes well.

We havn't seen the best of Patolo yet and he has the size to do some damage. Hes been a bit of a slow burner though injury hasn't helped. I rate Knight as well. I remember him being pretty good for Souths at one point but once again he got injured. But he has a bit of ball stills and size.

Big Sam Hughes has been resigned so they must see something in him. I know Parra had wraps on him when he was in Harold Mathews. He certainly has the size. We have added a couple of fringe 1st graders in Faamausili and Kitione Kautoga. I think Kautoga has been added to the squad.

But I am hoping that ISAAC MATALAVEA-BOOTH gets his chance because he is a monster and can change the momentum of a game with his size and power game. I think he is a development player still but I am hoping he gets a crack next season.

It’s too bad Patolo is made of glass.
He’s like a tampon, in for one week out for 3!

Knees fucked, not sure what's doing there. Swear at one point when it flared up again during the season the club was like it was just some light bone bruising or a minor sprain only for him to fuck it again that week. He also didn't do the captain's run and we still started him lol.

Add 5kg for those above 110kg and 10kg for those below 110kg, 15 for those below 105kg and we will have the size we sorely need.
The primary mission should be bulking up and improving the cardio of our forwards in the off-season.

no one in the penrith pack is 115kg, or even 110kg
Despite our signing suggesting otherwise, we are not Penrith.
We have to develop our own brand of footy back to what it used to, tough as square nails.

Is there anyway we can get this Max King back?

He seemed absolutely massive in this trial match.
