I remember watching his brother in the lower grades back in the early 00s. Unfortunately for him half backs were very good back then, I think he'd be a first grade player had he played today.

He was coaching the HM & SG Ball as well as Jersey Flegg halves & kickers this year. He also made himself available for a role with the senior squad- he’s still waiting for a reply.

Yeah Sherwin was one player that had the opposition guessing what he was up too. Lol had me guessing as well. Having him coach Lewis would be a good thing.

I remember back in those days I use to go to heaps of games
I had them sports ears and could hear everything that was going on the field

I remember whenever shifty had the ball in opposition 20
You would hear the other team players yell out

Haha yeah love it, he was a shifty alright. Was exiting for us.

Literally when shifty has the ball
Opposition defence was on red alert

We haven’t had a good halfback since him
No we havent but hopefully one is in training. Lewis if they hang on to him

That's my favourite bulldogs era right there...., closely followed by the Pay, Dymock, Smith, Lamb, McCracken and co team. ...oh the memories....
