Mazzone was excellent. Great reads in defence, and his chases on Ramsay n Sloan etc were impressive. Has he played any fullback?

Alot were disappointing. Cochrane n O'Neill struggled.
 
How did Lipoi Hopoi go ? Did he play in the back row or was he moved into the middle where he should be?

King, Hughes, Tiponoua, Hayes, Preston, Curran, Kikau, Underhill, Mann, Amone, and a few more are all first grade players.
They are all in advance of Todd. Todd will never see FG for a long time.

Bit disappointing. We lacked a bit of cohesion on the edges and temperament. They marked Todd heavily, might be worth bringing him off the bench like what he will do in first grade. The new hooker looked very good as did Rinakama he will be ready for NRL if needed to fill in. Our lack of depth in the centres and edges is a bit concerning. Lippo is getting a lot better but is not a natural edge and luke smith is better on an edge. The combo of Smith and Gabriel looked a bit slow.
 
This team will improve significantly when they get guys like Wilson Tuala and Salmon back in it.
 
I really hope Mazzone continues to improve. Would be great to see his pace in first grade. And I’m a fan of the hair
