It was a great effort from Coates. It's a bit of both, Coates brilliance and the shambles of DWZ's defense.

He would have to lose the unlosable game to be in the conversation for sacking. The unlosable game being Good Friday.

They will have a leg up from the referees and they have a better roster with more x-factor.

Losing Gilbert he’s their best player. Hunt and Flanagan are developing nicely as a combination and RFM you can tell is really enjoying his football played his best game in nearly 5yrs last years. He going to be their whipping boy and scapegoat. The coach is blindly loyal to him. He’s a massive issue for sure. The coach won’t admit mistake. We see this so often with Gould and Ciraldo and it’s playing out at Souths too. Coaches are like Politicians. They can’t see outside the bubble. But when the knife is coming they will throw someone off the bridge. Souths have the scapegoat all set and ready to go. What makes it worse for them is Reynolds success at Broncos.

The real problems at Souths is that 2 now 3 players run the entire show. Its all over for a club when players take control.

If Ciraldo ever moves Burton to centre you know he’s been told win or gone and the rebuild and winning junior games have both been exhausted. It will be a big clue to what is happening. I don’t think Burton position is an issue and moving him to centre won’t solve it.

Galvin in 1 game looked better in an underperforming Tigers team. Throw Illias into that Tiger team, he would be completely exposed.
