But Tedesco ran for 217 metres and made seven tackle breaks. It doesn't matter that he bombed that try and had a shocker, it's the stats that count.

The problem there is that Fox is in front of Teddy and Teddy got that ball flat footed. Tualagi was already sliding along with his centre inside. Watch it on replay. By the time Teddy steadies himself from the flat footed pass and accelerates, QLD slide across and if he passed to Fox it's a 50-50 chance at best.

If Fox was behind Teddy, it may have worked.

It's different to Selwyn Cobbo who had a similar passage to the tryline. In the end he nearly got bundled into touch by Luai and then Teddy and only just planted it down.

I still don't know how Tualagi managed to stop Teddy scoring. It was great defence. In hindsight, given he didn't score, he probably could have tried to set Fox up in the corner but there was no guarantee Fox gets there IMO
