Week 1 of the Finals.

If Sharks beat Raiders:

Penrith Panthers vs New Zealand Warriors
Brisbane Broncos vs Melbourne Storm
Newcastle Knights vs Canberra Raiders
Cronulla Sharks vs Sydney Roosters

If Raiders beat Sharks:

Penrith Panthers vs New Zealand Warriors
Brisbane Broncos vs Melbourne Storm
Newcastle Knights vs Sydney Roosters
Canberra Raiders vs Cronulla Sharks

Knights will go through week 1 whoever they play.

Panthers will win week 1, so week 2 Warriors will get dusted by the Knights.

Knights through to week 3 they will most likely play: Storm week 3.

Therefore Knights will avoid playing Penrith until the GF if it all goes to script.

Either way I think Sharts are screwed now.

They win tomorrow, they can't finish above Newcastle so will have to play the Roosters week 1.

They lose tomorrow, they will have to play Raiders in Canberra week 1 who will want revenge for former Shark Ennis clapping in their faces.

Playing the same team in back to back weeks is a huge mental game.

Good forward pack, really good backline. Everyone does their job.

As you said good pack, their backline is probably one of the best in the comp when you factor in how good they all are in the yardage department. Their spine on paper isn’t fantastic outside Ponga but Hastings, Gamble and Crossland are all competitors and play the parts to a tee, when Ponga wants the ball the give it to him at the right moment.

I think they really need Moylon back on left edge for Hynes combo. But drop Talakai to bench and start Iro. Only way to get their attack flowing again.
