These scrums are a blight on the game. Watching one there, Cronulla have broken so many rules yet are the beneficiary of the referees decision. They are
a) not bound correctly with the back rowers not standing directly side by side leaving a massive gap for the lock to
b) not pack in correctly either.
c) Ball placed behind the props feet ,
d) then they hold the ball in the scrum and the bloke picking it up grabs at it twice committing the tiniest of knock ons but a knock on nevertheless.

Absolute joke like a lot of other things in the game.

The ruck area is another sore point with one incident Canberra ruled to have not played the ball properly only because Rudolph got up and grabbed the Canberra player just as he was playing the ball.
