Mate it was our reserve grade side out there. We didn't even have an established halve in the side. It's a shock we even won one.

hodkinson is way to slow for nines, so apart from those 2 and inu we weren't missing anyone.
our back line is very slow, let's face facts.
What the nines did do is promote mbye and jaline in the pecking order for this year.
It also helped burr and o'hanlon , as long as they can back it up in 13 a side

I just got back from a weekend away and just watched all the. 9s games geez how bad did we look in attack ? Almost every other team look so much smoother in attack , was painful to watch

We were paying 61 dollars to win it. We had no chance

hahaha to all the guys thinking the teams that killed it in the 9's will make the same impact come the full 13 a side game are dreaming - look at the 7's and a team that frequents the finals like Fiji, they are reduced to minnows come the full 15's game.

Cowboys had a full strength backline and an extremely experienced forward pack led by Tamou. Only Thurston was missing.

If you think all we were missing was Reynolds, Morris and Inu you're kidding yourself. The NRL Nines was won off defense and in the middle with the forwards. Which if you notice the likes of Graham, Pritchard and Eastwood missing you'd understand why we were shit.
