Who thinks NRL should go from 13 a side to 11 a side ?

It's faster and MORE exciting.
Just my opinion.

You want scores of 112-88?

Who do you drop? The centres? Lock? Wingers?

And you'd have to make the field smaller as well, reduce it to around 50m

It's fine the way it is today.

The problem is the lack of innovation in the game - where are the halfback skills these days, where are the different coaching plays these days, the scrums are useless, 5th tackle options are tedious and repetitive.

Yeah and soccer should be reduced to 9 players a game...
Are you serous, it's 13 and that's what it always will be there should be no changes what so ever.

If you want attacking game watch u20's as others have said.

The ABC tonight were banging on about how unfair the 11 aside was for Parra. "The Bulldogs had all the ball giving them the upper hand to score three tries by running into gaps created by the opening up of the field". This was repeated add nauseum. They forget that Parra had all the ball when Payne was sinbinned. Losing a forward forced a Bulldog centre to move in to stop attacks up the middle, leaving the wing exposed; and Barba was forced to stay back behind the line to prevent chip kicks and bombs. This gave Parra effectively 12 against 11. No mention of that. Especially as the possession was 65% to Parra at that stage.

Had Parra run in three quick tries they would have been praising their brilliance. Go figure!
