I miss the days when players would come to the club with potential, spend a preseason with us that transformed potential into results.

So while I'm hopeful that TPJ gets it right, he's said things like this before. Hope this time he belts the goals he has out of the park and we see what a fit, focussed version of him can do.

I'll always hate him with a passion. We realistically had the opportunity to retain either $BW or Asotasi as the heart of our forward pack and made the wrong decision.

If it was a military situation and money bill had deserted in the middle of the night, he'd be shot as a traitor.

SBW was not a good clubman for us but he is an outstanding example of a professional athlete and someone that other athletes hold in high regard so if we can use him to our favour then lets go.

More than happy for our 'athletes' look up to him as a fellow 'athlete' and to leave it at that.
Just get nervous when he is wheeled out as some sort of mystical guru who can speak knowledgably on any topic from post-natal depression to the meaning of Chapter 2 of the Quran.

Last few years TPJ has had some excuses. Last years at Broncos he was at odds with the club and not motivated to perform every week. Last year he had some good games, but also an injury for a bit and some tragedy as well that would have taken the edge off him. I think this year, with a team that is better too, it will be his year. He is a fantastic footballer when right. I think we will see more next year.

Being overweight before probably makes it more noticeable. 110 kg isnt light. He probably shouldnt get lighter though. End up with Kasiano syndrome. He was massive then lost a shit tonne of weight, and then became ineffective coz his weight was what got him through the line before. TPJ has more skills including footwork than Kas but.
