When will he be right to play? Still around June?
Was injured at the start of September, 9 months minimum from the time of surgery. If he had surgery early September, Then June return is likely

We need big battering rams, reserve judgement until see how he goes
Exactly.

He is the modern day prototype forward that we could really use.

Didn’t make it at the roosters or south’s but surely most dogs fans can see how far those sides are ahead of us.

So don’t you have a list of non injured props that you could sign a week out?
I called him an ambulance chaser as a joke. You are connecting dots that aren’t there

You’re just always pushing it Though with Gus or whoever.

This signing would Be lucky to be above minimum wage there isn’t any downside as we aren’t keeping anyone out of the squad that’s deserving atm and it’s a short term deal. If he succeeds then it another King money all signing

Never had a problem with Gus :grinning: I like him, it was a clear joke, stop trying to put me in the agenda basket. I don’t really care that he signs the 29th and 30th player like this until our juniors come through, every club does it. He won’t play until round 10 or beyond anyway so it will be a while until we see what he is like

Will slot in as a supplementary player.
Good to see the amount of positivity about the signing, sure it has a little risk post ACL but no doubt low cost.
This bloke could be very handy for the second half of this year and into 2025 turn out to be a very good acquisition.

Age plays a role compared to Zane, if he comes good for us we can keep him for a few years on top

Bit of a stink coming out of the rabbits, maybe we can nab some of there better players, probs not Murray but maybe Arrow. We could also try and grab some of their Cup/flegg players?

Suluka-Fifita Signs for Two Years

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs are pleased to announce the signing of 24-year-old prop Daniel Suluka-Fifita.
Suluka-Fifita will join the Bulldogs squad effective immediately, signing on to a two-year term for the 2024 and 2025 seasons.

General Manager of Football Phil Gould confirmed the signing today stating that the 112kg prop would add great depth to the Bulldogs forward pack:

"Daniel is a tremendous young talent who has shown great potential coming through the pathways at Roosters and playing NRL at Souths.

"We are excited to have him at the Club and he will add great depth to our forwards."
The front-rower will join the squad at Belmore from tomorrow. He is currently recovering from an ACL injury and is due to return to playing in May.
Good opportunity to be around the club and team, be up to scratch with what the coach and halves want, train his body up to NRL requirements including fitness as he recovers.

If done right, good time to have a psyched up ready to trample forward in a time when suspensions and injuries are expected. As long as that keenness doesn't affect defence, errors, and penalties

I just worked out what Gus is up to...
He is buying all the injured props then use 'em as spare parts to make one prop...Genius :tearsofjoy:
He’s alive … and he’s huge, finally we have an alpha prop ..

Never seen him play hopefully he’s got a bit of a tank. These big guys usually don’t and they’d be a useless spot in the 17.
Eg pele and “tevita 10 minutes”
