After what Andrew Hill said a couple of weeks ago combined with releasing Mbye yesterday on maybe $700k changeover does that mean we now have $1.2 million to spend on 6 players?

If that is the case what positions will the club shore up? And do we go afte 4-5 good players or 1-2 stars?

Carney doesn't want to play league at the moment. He is spending time with his mother (his father died when he was 20), as she was diagnosed with breast cancer recently.

As good as Carney was, we don't want to buy a potential trouble maker and get more shit heaped on the club. Our record with troubled players is that they perform to their best after they leave us, or they perform well then walk out mid term. Mbye will become another superstar as soon as he leaves us. We don't need this ordeal anymore. Let's concentrate on a few years in the wilderness and develop our own players.

Surely looking at our squad means the following would be astute purchases.
Hastings (cheap,talented and goal kicker)
Jai field (talented and stuck in reserves)
Rhys Martin
Gela mosby ( fastest thing out there and stuck in reserves)
Matt parcel ( wouldn’t be cheap but not pricey) has definitely proven he is a good hooker at nrl level.

Carney is 32 with shot hammies and hasn’t played a NRL game in years there’s no upside to signing him.

Parcell makes a lot of sense, simply because Lichea would kill it in the SL, so why not a straight swap, with a bit of luck not much money would need to change hands.
