That's certainly not true at all.
Trying to find an old article / interview that I read sometime ago. It talked about a round of shoulder treatment / surgery at Parramatta which was done incorrectly as his arm was strapped or slung in the wrong position resulting in the injury getting worse and an operation being required.

There's no doubt that Parra badly mismanaged Foran in every respect including his physical health. It was the main reason he went to the Warriors on a 1 year deal - to get away from everything. Sadly the Warriors while they may have helped his shoulder didn't do him any favours trying to get him to play with a bad hamstring. Now he has had 5 months off with intensive rehab I'm sure both problems will be much less of an issue going forward.

Yep that's fine that was published. The article I'm talking about came much later after the event when he had left the Eels.

Also issuing the breach notice etc was probably the first steps in terms of building a case in readiness for when he was going to leave in order to minimise any payment obligations.
Not at all. Believe what you want, i know someone that works at Patta and the whole "blame Parra for Forans condition" is laughable.

Happy to hear more about what was said about the injury and subsequent treatment.

I know a few people down there too and they said that parra did fuck up the shoulder issues. Foz was livid with the salary cap shit too. If you remember when he actually signed with them there was a clause if the club or board fucked up badly he could terminate contract and get pay out for years pay! They then leaked to media became big shit fight and got that clause removed with Foran agreeing too. Then turns out they where cheating. Lol

This little drama opens with the events that led to Foran slaying Parramatta on Sunday, which began last year in his sleep.

Foran was recovering from his first shoulder operation. One of those painful operations where the cut goes deep and the size of the pain seems to have no connection to the size of the tiny muscle operated on and the recovery seems a long way away.

Foran went home and slept with his arm in a sling and woke in tremendous pain.

He never felt anything like it.

Around him, life was already in chaos.

But the pain ...

What Foran did not know was that sometime during the night, in the wrong sling, he jerked and tore the muscle all over again.

He woke the next morning in a pain that was foreign. Someone had taken a sledgehammer to his shoulder.

Foran had never had this operation before. He thought the pain was normal.

Only painkillers could help and they were sending him batty. Making him tired and the recovery was slow.

Arthur wanted Foran back.

All the advice he got was that Foran should be nearly ready to play. He believed getting Foran back to the field quickly was the best remedy for all that other stuff going on.

It is not an uncommon thought.

What Arthur did not know was that the night Foran slept after that operation he was in the wrong sling for the operation he underwent. He was supposed to be in a sling that locked the arm in place during sleep. It was not the right sling and the muscle tore again.

Only painkillers, a silent curse themselves, saw him through.

That's where it began.

Arthur began insisting he wanted Foran at training. Idle minds are no good for footballers and Arthur did not want Foran at home, with little to do.

Foran resisted, as much because the painkillers were sending him to sleep on the drive down, twice nearly ending in accidents.

It was a spiral neither could break from.

He lasted less than a half of football in his return when the reality of his injury could not be hidden by drugs.

Foran eventually left Parramatta, damaged goods

Yh true, this sort of ties in to abit of what i was told. But again, there is alot more to the story and Foran is responsible for a lot of what went wrong with his time at Parra. If that wasn't true then Parra would have been well and truly fucked and they wouldn't be pulling off key signings as players wouldn't trust them.

If Foran is committed to the club and puts in the hours then hopefully he can stay injury free and contribute...if not then it will just turn out the same as his time at Parra and Warriors.

He’s an idiot in some ways, you’re out of the game for a year. You’re off asada etc. you know you’re half way fucked. Get some growth hormone and get to healing.

Except he wasn't. He was released by the Eels in around May and signed a new contract in Sept. You think that stuff washes out of the system with a couple of beers?

Foran is the key player to our season if he gets injured or doesn't fire we will be in massive trouble.......

A halves combination containing Frawley, Cleeland or Brown just isn't going to cut it.
