The highlight of the article was the revelation that Pantai is off contract at seasons end. I just heard he's not off contract at years end. Who gives someone money to write wrong shit like this? Seriously.
I haven't seen or heard of any Club banging the door down to offer him a contract going forward after next year. Nor should we. No extension. It was a mistake to get him. It would be a huge mistake to extend him.
Let him focus his athletic career on becoming a boxer. Let both him and Thompson when their contract is up. I'd rather we focus our efforts on unearthing young middles who are fit, big motors, hungry, not injury prone and eager to ....dare I say it....fill up the stats sheets.

You don’t want to pump him up too much because he can go the other way too and come out crazy and get himself suspended.

With player like Pangai it’s a fine fine line between dominant and recklessness. He has seemed uninterested in games aswell. All the talk was sonny got him into the zone and he was here to repay the dogs and Ciro during the preseason. That was 4 months ago. Not too sure if the fire is still burning in his belly…. I was a fan when he signed because I expected his best. I am still hopeful it will click into gear for him. He is a game changer at his best. But he is also a trex at his worst.

Fingers crossed he can see the dogs had his best interest. Kept him out an extra month to make sure he doesn’t aggravate his injury. We sent him to specialists to make sure he is good to go. I wouldn’t mind him here For years to come. But we have already had a high priced enforcer prop who spends most his time out. We can’t afford to do it again if we want to be serious contenders in the future.

The part I agree with that article is we have enough toilers/nice guy but we need the hunter/ Villain because the more RL changes the more it stays the same - every pack needs a mofo that strikes fear into the heart of oppositions (once upon a time we had a whole pack and bench )
