Surely in this technical age we have enough time to setup some decent video conferencing facilities and we could even install some additional cameras on the coaches box to help his view of the game.

Many of us have to find ways to do our jobs almost as effectively from home over the last few years surely this should not be a big problem if he is only required to isolate. However if he is very sick that is a different story.
