In defence of Barrett there are a lot of peanuts in this team. Dufty Averillo are just not competing at nrl level. We don’t have a decent halfback, strike centre and forwards do not aim up. It’s partly coaching but also lack of talent in a team that has just been put together and is very disjointed. Burton trying every trick in the book but you can’t rely on that all the time. It’s a long term fix and starts with bringing young players through and developing them together. We have to overpay for players because we are not developing any talent

Still need a quality centre, fullback, half and a prop.

23 will be improved, but i think 24 is when we really compete.
