If I was Munster’s manager I’d advise him to take the best offer. The next contract will most likely be his last big one before retirement turning age 29. Whoever signs him would probably have to sign him for $1.2m a year if you believe what’s in media.
If we are to make a bid we really would need to front load the first 2 years as you don’t want to be paying big money to a 33 year old.

I thought we might want to develop to win a comp..I admit that looks shaky right now but I am not a fan of buying a comp personally..also wtf will be our gun or at least very good 7?

Someone mentioned Ben Hunt he is 32 now...sure he is playing good footy but is not an option.

burton is a future superstar but Munster is a superstar now, that was my point bulldog. If we could afford Munster under the cap, which i doubt, im sure we could find a way for it work.

I'd let Burton go if it meant signing Munster tbh, at least at this stage. Things could change over the coming months but id rather have an out and out star at the club that leads in attack and defence that could mentor the next generation through.
