Surely teams are going to have to start putting players back in a bubble and limit their exposure to the general public if they are really serious about winning this year. Some of these players must be into their second infections already as we were told they nearly all had it in January.

From what I have heard you're good for 3 months after catching it, the variant plays a part in this too.

Lucky for the Bulldogs- they don’t seem too serious about winning this year..

I wonder who those players are....with any luck Jackson and JMK are on that list. Can we be that lucky?

On the downside, this gives Baz a YUGE excuse. This is a game we should have lost anyway but now even if we get pumped by 50 he can blame it on fucking Covid. If by some miracle we jag a win, FMD he'll be coach of the year and he''ll be extended for the next decade. This is a lose-lose situation for the fans because it just delays the process of Baz being sacked. He can now use this as an excuse for the next month

Hopefully some of the young guns get a run (I'd like to see Hoffman get a run)

COVID, injuries decimate Bulldogs ahead of Brisbane clash

Canterbury have been decimated by injuries and COVID and will likely need special dispensation from the NRL in order to field a team against Brisbane.
The Bulldogs sent four players for PCR tests on Wednesday morning after registering positive RAT results ahead of the clash with the Broncos at Suncorp Stadium on Friday. Sources with knowledge of the situation have told the Herald that playmaker Jake Averillo is among the trio in doubt.
