Me thinks it’s bye bye Buttler as Bairstow is a keeper..don’t like to kick a bloke when he is down.,but he missed too many important catches this series a keeper should eat up.. Kawaja in his 20s in this Test.. His batting has let the Poms down here.. Poms need another specialist batsman to bolster their frag batting order.
and that would be who?

tbf - thought the Aussies got a little too focussed on getting Stokes. By the time they realised Bairstow was cruising he was set. So far has been a hard pitch to get in on. Anyways, this will be good for Cummins as a captain - lately this has been the kind of game we end up losing.....

Someone else..maybe give Daniel Lawerence another go..Buttler has been a shocker behind the stumps this series.. His glove work is not up to Test standard..he’s been given a go-4 Tests..I don’t think Bairstow’s innings shouldn’t be diminished in anyway..it was a fine knock..a gutsy stay at the crease with a heap of pressure on him.

No idea about DL but hey, cannot be worse than Butler atm. Told you b4 that I thought u should play Bairstow as he's a better keeper but wasn't complaining :tearsofjoy:.

A test hungy is a test hungy - props. Just saying that I think the Aussies have been pin point strategically to this point and they opened the door slightly for the ginge. Should have gone harder at him with the shorter stuff early on. He's still got to be good enough to walk in though and he was. Heard that Bairstow is a bit soft, maybe watching Stokes guts it out helped. At that level, sometimes the mental is more than 50% of whats needed.

Ahhh Buttler wasn’t the Keeper it was Pope..no wonder the catch was taken!

ps..sorry Mr. Buttler I couldn’t help It..not that you don’t deserve it..imagine if you caught Kawaga on 26 what a difference that would have made!!

Who do you have as Australia's top 3 cricketers of all-time?

I can't decide who to put at 3.

1. Donand Bradman
2. Shane Warne
3. Ricky Ponting/Glenn McGrath/Adam Gilchrist

Honourable mention Alan Border..if there was one cricketer I’d want batting for my life it’d be this bloke.. faced the might of the West Indies’ at their peak and succeeded through shear toughness..

All good shouts for top 3.DK Lillee what a great and aggressive bastard loved him!
I get he is a bit of a flog at times(doesn't overly bother me always some envy in these opinions)but Warney a "shithouse human" really? That seems quite harsh to me ..pretty sure his foundation does good things for example..

Agreed, how is Warne a shithouse human? He doesn't go out hurting others.

Off the top of my head i thought Bradman, Warne, Lillee.

Gilchrist is very compelling. Has to be the best keeper / batsman of all time. Outstanding white ball cricketer.

Averaged 47.60 in Test cricket after having to concentrate all day fielding as a WK. Changed the way 1 Day cricket is played. Incredible stuff.
