It was always going to be Smith.
Yeah I think that is the best fit for all.. Melbourne were never going to pay the Dwz money and probably didn't want Jayden considering the lengthy lay off.. smith is right up Bellamy's, because he's athletic and talented, but just needs an attitude adjustment.. perfect fit..

P.s love your new avatar...

Who cares get it done, so what if we are paying jac 800 after paying some freight for dwz, better a seasoned international try scoring machine than dwz or another rough diamond based on hope
Yeah Bennett said in his last press conference they have more players coming can only assume jac and some broncs players
Storm aren't going to pick DWZ up for the full freight of his contract. We'll be contributing 100-200k. I think Storm would be willing to pay 400k for DWZ max. We'll need to remember whatever we're offering JAC, let's say 600k, until DWZ is off the books completely (what we're contributing towards him to play at the Storm) we'll have dead cap space which means JAC costed more for the first two years (700-800k using my e.g.'s). I'd prefer to lose DWZ over Okunbor and Reimis. DWZ is only making the side due to what he's on (same as Napa). If I was the Storm I'd be wanting Okunbor (is out with an ACL injury tho) and Reimis before DWZ.

Gee Teddy, that sounds like 2017 all over again. Recruit two internationals in Foran and Woods and suddenly...cap...boom! Careful what you wish for saying things like ‘who cares just get it done’ - fancy spending another 3 years in purgatory? I don’t...

Don't appreciate staring at the bottom of the ladder year in and year out.
Time to create a Windows to win a grand final and it starts now, no more z grade signings, only the best and elite.
Who agrees with me??
No more, britts crightons and coggers of the world.

800k for JAC? Are you off your chops?

JAC will be scoring fuck all tries if he is getting fed by Lewis and the likes. Only tries he will be scoring is from the odd loose ball on the ground

How the fuck is it? He's always taking blokes over the sideline. And your comment about him playing centre in juniors saying 'it's not under 12s'.... lol just stupidity. He's played most of his football there and WANTS to play there.... what does that tell you? Let me guess.... "He's not a centres asshole" still? Lol I'd love to know how some people come to conclusions
Yap all you like, as all of your opinions are assumptions.

Kid hasn't played centres in first grade and there is no evidence out there for you to prove it that he would make it in the NRL.

Ricky Stuart picking Rapana (who is a terrible defender) in the centres over Cotric, says where Cotric stands as a centre.

I might be wrong but i think Ricky Stuart might be just a tad more experienced and knowledgeable than you and the remainder of the kennel clan. As i said only a tad.

I'd love to know how you come to conclusions

Have you seen Thommos contract?

Regardless, lets pay overs for every new recruit just to keep Teddybear and his ego in place.

Splurge out on the spine and not on a winger you dumb bear

Nice. If he can't catch Hoppa can catch and then just offload to him to get the metres.

One extreme to the other Big Ted.
Most of those signings were cap restricted.
I’m all for chasing talent, but a winger for $800k because you might also have to pay freight on the bloke he replaces that might get us back to where we’ve just emerged from? Not sound business...

It actually is sound business, when players of this calibre come on the market.
We have 15 players off contract next year champ

You do for a fullback and some..

Look at latrell everyone bagged him, but what a player dynamic at fullback you read that one well dinkum...could have been in blue and white
Yeah thanks ‘champ’ I’m well aware.
You still don’t pay $800k for a winger and I’m glad you have zero say on the matter.

JAC isn’t a fullback and just like his mate he might want to be. Mitchell far from set the world on fire at 1 and Soufs still made a GF qualifier when he was out for several weeks prior to that ie: they hardly fell in a heap without him. If JAC comes at the right price and plays in his specialist position great. If he’s demanding a position switch and motivated mainly by coin no thanks, just like Mitchell.
