Only suggesting Gus cos it could help with positive press in the club looking to recognise that it happened but we are getting in the highest profile league identity/mentor in the game to advise us.

Can't solve our problems but it would be proactive with a respected expert assisting...I couldn't think of anyone else who had sufficient profile.

Yes, the two apparently grown men should have known better and should not even have contemplated what they did. Trips away in the future will be pretty crowded events; playing squad, one minder for each of them. Ultiomately though personal responsibilty is obviously lacking in a lot of footy players because they keep shooting themselves, the club and the game in the foot over and over.

I have been disappointed and ashamed of past actions at the club but this one takes the cake.This one will stick for a long time to come and once again give others the ammunition to make their snide little remarks and put the boot it. The actions of two individuals and the subsequent actions of others involved in it have created another poor talking point. Say what you will, and we all have, that nothing illegal happened as it was consensual and they were of age, but how can people still think they can do this stuff without consequences ...... I am not talking just from the breaking of codes of conduct I am talking about them not understanding that with social media and the actions of some in releasing vision, comments etc that this would not end well?? We can also look at the other side of the coin, and I am sure some have, that these girls would share with their friends the events of the evening and it would be there for all to see. Lessons have not been learned by these guys as we have seen the Burgess sexting, the Napa incident, Tyrone May...the list goes on.

The club acted swiftly and decisively to their credit and if you saw the accompanying picture to the article from the press release the look on Andrew Hills face just about said it all. Don't know where to go to from here, maybe Gus can help but .....

I think because they are referring to him requesting indecent images of a child. A person found guilty of that offence is a "sex offender" in fact they are almost certainly placed on the "child protection offender registry" which is commonly referred to as the child sex offender registry. Sex offences do not have to include "sex" or contact offences... I'm not saying he has committed an offence by the way.. or that he'd be charged.. I'm just explaining what the previous poster meant by their post which is technically correct

It's probably a good idea if a person looks like they could be under the legal age of consent when it comes to either sex itself, or sexting. I don't have Insta, but I would have thought that sort of info would be available on most profiles. In any case, I think the onus was on Okunbor to be sure.

Good publicity lasts for just a moment bad publicity stays around like a terrible odour for as long as people make comments.I have already copped it at the gym this morning from a Roosters fan " Yeah mate see your dogs are in trouble AGAIN...." Well, I think that now that i'm in my 40s, I'm past picking up schoolgirls. When I was trying to score with girls under 18, I was also under 18, and it was obviously before the internet and therefore procuring nudes wasn't exactly an issue either.
