Okay Todd... time to act. Not only has the game been brought into disrepute by this, but it is now being used as an political pawn.
Rather than the spotlight being on the Indigenous vs All Stars game, instead it's on a political issue.
Was the game one big ruse to bring a political agenda to attention?
If it wasn't then time to act Big Talkin' Todd. Fine the players, and if they don't want to be seen as representing Australia, then ban them from all rep games. Simple as that.
The All Stars game has been overshadowed by the stupidity of these players actions.
In addition it's opened up people like Mal Meninga and Daley saying the national anthem should be changed. What's that got to do with Rugby League??? Keep your opinions out of the game unless it relates to it.
The game should not (and should NEVER) allow itself to be used to drive political issues and opinions. It should stay an arms length from such discussion.
Instead we have this on NRL.COM today.

Minor thing? Yeah maybe, but I hate when the great game of Rugby League is treated like a cheap slut for political agendas.
