I'll say it again. If Reynolds goes, so does whatever little bit of the culture that made the bulldogs of old what they were goes too.

He's the only one who shows passion, pride and loyalty. No one else wears the jersey with the pride he does.

Clear choice for me. I'd rather watch our team go down fighting than just showing up to get paid.
Yeah good point, love his enthusiasm, and pride for the jumper.

Reynolds gets the ball out the backline a lot more than Mbye and also creates more space for his outside players (needs to learn to play more direct)

Mbye seems to rely on others to create space for him eg forwards offloading to put him in space and he doesn't create much for others, he cannot or will not get the ball out to the backs on his side ( Rona nolonger knows what a football looks like).... Most of his try assists are kicks or a forced pass on the last tackle

Yeah yeah, be nice to actually hear you say somethin positive for a change anyway, can't recall seeing one post from you saying one good thing about players, coaches or dogs in general, maybe you need to relax you flaps a tad bud
Dogs are crap at the moment - badly run and poorly coached and there's not much to be positive about.

Mbye any day of the week. Reynold's has had his time "to reach his peak". I'm over waiting. Passion and determination isn't just enough anymore.

He scored 2 trys and the important one on full time.
He was hiding somewhere in the far left of the field when the ball was accidentally passed to him. Twice. Right place. Right time.

Mbye as a running 5/8.
But it is interesting on whether the organising deficiency is with Mbye, Hasler being a control freak or both . I'm leaning towards both with Hasler keeping Mbye grounded by limiting his involvement and playing to his strengths, while trying to get him slowly in the game.... If Mbye takes the team by the scruff of the neck by the end of the regular season, it'll be worth it. But the waiting around and hoping there is a plan is driving most of us to drink.....
Unfortunately doesn't take much for me to turn to drink....

Reynolds tried his hardest in the 2014 decider with a bung shoulder... but lets face it, he won't be leading us to a title. Better off sticking with Moses and not regretting letting him go.

Mbye. His kicking is improving, he scores more tries, makes more line breaks, and is much better in broken play than Reynolds.

I think Mbye has more potential than Reynolds, but he doesn't have a lot of room to show it in Des' structures.

Moses hadn't peaked yet and shows more potential.

Reynolds has not improved for years and has several mental issues.

It's really a no brainer.

Mbye 5/8, ? A proper half-back and Reynolds to hooker or specialist utility player of the bench. The change in interchange rules now allows to have one utility on the bench but Des needs to play them and throw them on with 5 mins to go.

Both are five-eighths. Mbye is better in every department.
