Wow. This thread went an entirely different way, to how I thought it would go.
I don't see any problem with this, at all.
What's wrong with giving, to someone less fortunate?
We're taking about refugees not illegals here.
I think some of youse need to lighten up a little.
Nothing wrong with helping them,,
There are many people who are less fortunate,
Thus far the club has helped polys back 08 to appease SBW.
Now refugees,
Why don't the club do anything to help less fortunate but passionate fans who would actually appreciate the experience of going to a game they otherwise can't afford,
There are people out there on pensions who have supported the club and been members during their working life, who retired with nothing who love the club, but can't afford the cost f going to the footy now days,
What a nice political statement that would be, you know, helping out poor people who worked hard all their life and payed taxes to the country,
Refugees have been given enough by the country already just by being here with the benifits they are already getting,
They now need to give back by getting a job and paying tax,
Not get further hand outs by footy clubs,
I am all for nice gestures, and helping out your fellow man, it's the Christian thing to do and we are a Christian country, but how about we begin to be a little more selective where all the help goes, I feel Australia gives to much to the wrong people and not enough where it's needed,
