Round 11 Dogs vs Raiders - NRL Team and Discussion Thread

A few things:
1) Given the situation with players missing and haslers love of changing the run on team you can be assured the team named will not take the field as listed.
2) Whenever Loko does make his debut, you can guarantee he won't be named.
3) I'd much rather see Stanley on the wing than in the centres. That's where he impressed last season, especially taking high kicks.
4) Thompson's not as good as he was last season. Neither is Perrett at fullback and Tim Browne isn't the same player as he was before his head injury.
5) Kaufusi offers nothing in the NRL. His experience might be handy in reserve grade but he is merely taking the spot of some of our younger pups.

Mind games from Des, he's supposed to have a knee injury, no-one will know if he will run out until an hour before kick off. If he does have an injury he shouldn't be risked, if he's missing for another extended period it will be a disaster.

The extended bench makes me feel sceptical. I'm with you though. I'd rather he miss a game and rest over the bye than do further damage....especially to the knee.

I dont have a problem with the rest. I would like to see Essesse given a run from the bench instead of Browne.
We would have some speed in the backline with these guys.
